Maybe you could make a plan for an event that relies on a hot day, that should do it. 😂

Daft, isn’t it? We moan about rain, grey heavy days, cold - now HEAT. No wonder the English are known to always talk about the weather!!! I am English BTW.😀

Over here (Germany) they forecast end of July will be “rainy/stormy” - just in time for the school holidays!!!😏😏😏

We got a break yesterday (New York City). Low humidity, crisp, cool day! More of the same today. Much improved hair weather! Hope the good weather heads your way. My PMR feels best in the heat. Pains are increase with cold...even AC!

Don’t like the sound of “controlled weather” don’t think mother nature will respond to that. And where does it end - controlled........???

Be careful what you wish for... from Japan with all time record rainfall. Some places got 1000 mm of rain over 48 hour periods... Flood, landslide and many roads washed away.

You are welcome to come and stay. We have severe weather warning for gales and heavy rain. We live under a mountain so it's freezing too, would that help? We can watch Wimbledon at night and have lots of cups of tea. I'm sure New Plymouth, New Zealand is on the new tube line so see you soon and wrap up well, hail storm at the moment 🗻⛈️🍃💨

Angie, that all sounds like a little piece of heaven. We Brits love to moan about the cold and just can't handle the sun.

Love it !!!

Managed to pull open a door yesterday & catch the gap between my big toe & next one! For a none dancer it was pretty impressive! Hasn't worked so far though!

I went out into the garden just now to dance a dance and felt like collapsing so I came indoors. I did produce a lot of water like substance from my forehead and various other places though.......💦now I need to lay down..

We need to be sun dancing for those poor boys trapped in the cave in Thailand. 🙏

Looks like some are out now. 🤞 fingers crossed for the rest. I suppose as young lads they will think it an awfully big adventure, but I wouldn’t like to be them.

No, it takes 11 hours of walking, wading, climbing, diving and swimming , in the dark, to get one boy out, there are 12 or 13 and 4 rescued. What was that coach thinking? They are 2 and a half kilometres in, and the monsoon is coming.

I agree that it is too hot here though, I feel poleaxed.

I agree it has been extremely hot and l find it hard to tolerate, although l much prefer sunshine to grey clouds etc,it is much better with a nice breeze to cool it a bit.l have just ordered a base for my garden parasol,l need to put it in my conservatory to try and block the hot sun out,l have blinds all around the windows but not the roof, you can be sure it will rain when l get it ,just thought it would help in there as it makes the lounge really hot too with the sun shining in so much. I intend to book an appointment with Hillary’s tomorrow for some blinds for the roof, another sure way to bring some rain!

We’re officially in a drought! Hosepipe ban, reduced nighttime pressure etc. This is Ireland, the home of rain. We had two metres of snow 12 weeks ago!

Gosh I miss the rain! 😢
