PMR is expensive!

Expensive illness. I’ve lost 2 contacts so far...$80 each. I think it’s related to some “fine motor” thing at midnight. I take them out-immediately loose them in a tiny bathroom and after 2 hours of searching - no luck. It must be the PMR!!! Where do they go? Even St. Anthony can’t help.

No Joking aside I am having new lenses fitted to my frames at present ,just being without them for a few days I know the difference . I am coming home with a headache most days .Cant imagine trying to find contacts if you drop them I put my glasses down and lose them as it is

And don’t you hate it when we loose them on top of our head?

I’ve only done that the next morning after several martinis.

I really recommend the daily disposable ones, for comfort, hygiene and it doesn’t matter if you lose them, which you will never do again.

Apparently mine are not a ‘common’ type. Special corrections.

Mine are varifocal - they can be quite complex prescriptions. I’ve had nightclub lights put on to find one in the distant past when I went to such places.

Wow! “Nightclub lights”. Don’t you wish we still went? :)

If it’s appropriate put a nylon stocking over the end of the vacuum cleaner nozzle and hopefully catch it that way. I have saved small earrings or backs of earrings that way.

Thanks. I’ll try that next time. (I’m sure there’ll be a next time.)

Bummer... I lose my glasses (amongst other things) which is even more frustrating as they are MUCH bigger!!!!!
