Hello lovely fellow PMR sufferers.

I've been taking Pred for nearly 2 years starting at 15mg finally down to 1 mg for the past 4 mths now. As I've been feeling fine at this dose ( 2 mg alternate days) my Rheumatologist suggested I try stopping them all together.......so I did about a week ago

This has an unfinished feel about it! Is there some consequence, or are you thriving? Anyway, good for you. I'm almost there too.

Hello thanks for replying so quickly. I'm not sure, I guess I'm feeling ok my muscles are a little sore and I'm getting a lot of hot flushes but nothing major. I guess I was asking if anyone had stopped taking the Pred from 1mg and had been ok? I've been surfing the net and had confused and frightened myself a bit. Good to hear you're almost too, it's been a long and painful road so here's hoping for calmer waters. :-)

Fantastic! Do you still feel OK? If so, then the PMR has burned itself out naturally.
