Does anyone have this ugly problem. I weigh 140 lbs. so not overweight but legs don’t allow me to wear bathing suit.
Never had this problem before prednisone.

Well Pred does redistribute fat into undesirable places. See your doctor in case like me you have fluid on your knees.
I am the same, not overweight but puffy knees and thighs. Rheumatologist xray ed knees to check for osteoarthritis. Xray clear but a lot of fluid on both knees. I have follow up with him in 3 months about PMR but he hasn't asked my GP to give me anything to reduce fluid. I was surprised I have it as I am on low dose of Pred. I am going to ask him about it at my review appt.
I’m always banging on about salt and Pred because I get fluid retention with anything but the tiniest amount present in food. My fat redistribution has gone to top of thighs, midriff and face even though I’m very not overweight.
Yes my new Pred fat is also in those 3 places and has been for the past 3.5 years despite tapering down from 15mg to 6mg. It’s on thighs, tummy and face, yet I am quite slim everywhere else. A low carbohydrate diet helps, as has been reported frequently on this forum.
I actually don’t have the fatty knees or thighs and I love the pool. I ended up getting board shorts with a blouson top and I have been told it looks good. At our ages things droop so I tend to cover up. Swimsuits for all has a nice selection online. Not sure if they are USA only or not.
