Looks like a baby!!

Lovely picture but I did wonder if it is a Blue Tit but I suppose it could be a baby and this is how it looks before maturing. I have such a variety of birds around and I have recently bought some biniculars in order to get a closer view.

I am getting the Binos out for a close up look. I am thinking about a camera now too. Good thing about digital (once you future how to work it) is you don’t waste film or printing ink.

😜❤️👍

Just watched a mother Blue Tit with her two young on my wall and yes the babies are mostly Yellow with no Blue so the colour must come as they mature. The binocs are very usefull!!

Thanks for that line seem to have run away since I put my feeders up. Still a bit unfriendly to humans I suppose.

Strange you should say that as althouh I have feeders etc front, back and side of my garden One of them broke (due to what appears to have been by my resident Pheasant sneaking (was caught in the act) the feed out of the feeder above the wall) so I bought a new one from a Charity Shop in town and the birds would not use it, possibly as it was rather flimsy, only explanation, so bought yet another one from the Garden Centre a couple of days ago and now they are all over it. Love them.

Put a picture on start a new thread called Bird Feeder. Then we can try it out. Mine are cheap too. I think our birds prefer Harrods or Fortnum and Mason. I changed to a posher wild bird food too. Parker says they are eating it he’s seen then. But I reckon he’s just trying to get me sit outside quiet for hours staring at them and leaving him alone.
