I took my pred early last night, 9 pm. I woke up at 4.30 am and realised NO PAIN - I couldnāt believe it. I thought āthis is so good itās worth staying awake forā - started thinkng of all the things I could do if I felt this good. I did stay awake quite a long time but, of course, then dropped asleap. I woke up at 7.30 - oh NO, did I dream it? Back to normal.š”š”

That happens to me too. Kind of a waste to lie there sparkling, itās nice though - a taste of whatās to come, hopefully.
This is what I experience too! Isnāt it delightful that pain free sensation , then wham, ha ha, fooled ya!š” grr...
That used to happen to me pre-pred. If I woke before 4am I felt OK and not stiff but by 5am - couold barely move!
Despite usually taking my pred in the morning, I regularly have an awake period that is very comfortable between 2 and 5am. Might be the dmard I take between 7pm and 9pm extending pred effects. Like you say you i then drop off and it like you have gone backwards when you come to get up. š¤
Know the feeling, like you I wake up, make plans, drop off only to abandone them in the morning . Wish I could get up and do something, but bed has the greater pull. I take Pred at 10.00 pm and tried to take it 3.00am so I would get the energy at 8.00am. Didn't work as felt so groggy after not getting back to sleep.Oh well, we can still dream.š“š“
