Well done jkcana. My hubby is a technophobe so no chance of him doing this sadly. If more partners did this, it would be so helpful for all concerned.

Welcome. Glad you are gathering info. Hope your wife reads too and asks questions. 🌻

Well done for taking an active interest!

Oh, Well Done to You Sir! Having an insight to what your lovely wife is going through & the impact on you both is admirable.

If either of you have any questions just ask, there’s always someone around day or night, the insomniac’s amongst us & our friends across the pond or beyond are awake when others are sleeping.

Best Wishes & Welcome 💐

Hello jkcana, I think that's amazing!!!! Good on you! It will be very helpful for you to see what she might potentially go through and experience on this journey.... and all the help and direction she'll get from the experts on this site!

I too was diagnosed with both PMR and GCA in November of last year... so she and I are in about the same place, chronologically. I consider myself a "newbie" so I don't give much advice but try to provide as much support as I can.

I wish her (and you) all the best ad I know it's a rough road ahead for both of you....Hopefully your journey will be short and easy!!!!

PMR is a stinker - knowledge is power, as they say. You are an inspiration to other partners!

I think it is great that you are trying to understand your wife’s condition. My husband is my biggest cheerleader, in terms of emotional support and understanding my physical limitations. I believe you will find lots of information here. Good for you!!

Hi,

Well done you! You’ll help your wife immensely if you can understand her illness.

Hi jkcana. I'm very envious of your wife. I have both GCA and PMR and I live alone. Sometimes all I want is a caring partner who would cook me nice meals and take me for outings and generally look after me. With my lousy taste in men this would never have happened, but it's good to know that some people are luckier.
