Unfortunately I have not gotten any news. But headache is still there. Pain in shoulder is still there. I did however got a call from the neurologist office for an appointment though in July prednisone not helping on Day2. I’m going to wait over weekend and call my doc on Monday. It is closed now. I am however still getting sharp pains between my shoulder blade. I’m very tired and exhausted even if I doing anything around the house. Please let me know is it normal to still have numbness on the side where the biopsy was done. I have no feeling sensation above the incision.

I don’t know the answer to your specific question Hali12. It does sound likely to be normal. I just wanted to say that we are thinking of you and wishing you well. If your symptoms get worse I would advise you to go to A&E.
Around the scar may always be a bit numb. Once nerves are cut in any wound things are never quite the same so you can get numbness or different sensations. Mine is numb except for pain. Wounds take months to heal and mature and remember they have had to cut through other layers than just the skin and the stitches inside still need to dissolve.
4mg per day and they think you might have GCA? Did they explain why it is so low because this is low for PMR. Starting dose for GCA is 40mg. unless you mistyped?
Nerves can regenerate. I would keep a positive attitude about this. It may take a long time but visualize healing, know that your body is working to heal the area, and that includes mending the nerves.
Sending healing and comforting thoughts and prayers....
