Update on site problems

[Lynnc84]

Just had correspondence from the real Lynnc84 and she is admin on another site - she tells me the problems are site wide and 'it's a right mess and won't be fixed quickly' . Lyn promises to keep me updated. So if I can't resist the urge to reply to anyone temporarily I am Lynnc84 and will say I'm in cognito.

At least it's not another user, that was my concern, otherwise I would not be chatting again until fixed.

I’ve also been having problems and getting locked out from my desktop but strangely have just managed to get in from my mobile. On one occasion, the message “server problem” flashed up. Glad you’ve managed to find the real ‘holder’ of your new name and thanks for confirming the problem lies with HU.

Absolutely - that was a real blessing, I had no message like you - I'd been chatting and when I pressed reply it said I needed to register to use the site, when I went into the site it asked me which community I wanted and gave me a choice. The two I didn't recognise I deleted apparently all three, can't recall the other two, could see all my chats and I could see theirs, looked like maternity one of them I didn't want to see those so messaged Lynnc84, as it was her name against our community, couldn't be blamed for thinking she was an administrator for PMRGCAUK but then the message came to me! - as I was her by then - if you get me! I seriously thought it was my fault as no 'server problem' message ever came up.

Fortunately the real Lynnc84 picked up on it so the rest is history as they say.

Began to wonder if they were part of TSB! Seriously if that's what's happened with the bank!!? seeing others accounts - not good.

It’s a bit of a worry all round these days isn’t it. Big brother seems to be getting even bigger!

Too true, systems are brilliant when in full working order but when they're not.....doesn't bear thinking about!
