A fascinating and positive(?..) story / research article about the +/- of alcohol consumption! :-) But then I would say that, given my appetite for the Red Stuff ;-) :-D

Did you know.......

Many Drs have an obsession that alcohol is the root of all evil! The radio2 GP even admitted this last week. There are a few drugs where there is an absolute serious interaction. The common one is Metronidazole, an antibiotic. All other antibiotics do not conflict with alcohol. Increased drowsiness is a problem with antidepressants and anxiolytics so this needs to be borne in mind.

Personally I'd rather have a couple of drinks to help me chill out than take drugs. Cheers!!

I was concerned that any alcohol consumption would result in a bad day the next day...not so...I’ve had bad days with or without...all in moderation of course!! Life is too short to withhold something that gives me pleasure and doesn’t seem to harm..

This is the best news I’ve read in a while! I love wine and coffee.

Can someone please find an article that supports eating, taking prednisolone and not increasing your bust and stomach to scary proportions. I always used to want a good size chest but now I seem to have a large chest, back and generally large midriff! Getting me down. I think I’m having a bad week and can’t see that it might reduce in size as I taper.

Still struggling to find that ‘patience’ we all talk about. 😂😇

This can not be true!!!!! CAN IT!!! Me! I'm an Angel Doc! Honest! Oh! No! it's the Gamma GT spanking again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But it all comes down to the definition of "moderate drinking" - and how big a glass is!!!!!

OTOH - whatever, I'd rather live a shorter but enjoyable life. Really don't want an extra 5-10 years in a state of suspended animation...
