Is it recommended for PMR sufferers to wear flight socks? My flight will be 4 hours, Bristol to Malta.

I am sure you will receive proper advice later .....I used to but now on my 4 hour flights I just make sure I move around and do all the appropriate exercises!

Have a good flight :)

Personally I think anything over 2 hours needs socks - I don't bother when coming to Malta, it's under 2 hours for us.

Move around on Ryanair???? In your dreams!

When - did I ask where you are staying? Sounds like we'll just miss you. We go home on Tuesday.

We are staying at the Dolman Resort Hotel, St. Paul's Bay area, arriving Thursday. I lived in St. Paul's Bay 1961/2, my Dad was stationed there in Army. We did 18 months in Cyprus 1959/60 then moved to Malta, went to school at Tal Handaq, happy days!

What a shame - it is just a 5 min walk from where we are! We could have met for a coffee!!

Would have liked that. We used to live on Xemxija Hill.

Have you been back much since? I like Malta - and we use it to shorten the winter...

Not been back since 1962. We went to Cyprus for our Silver wedding in 1992, stayed for 3 weeks in October it was lovely. This holiday is delayed Golden wedding from last year as we had the builders in. My sister and OH are coming with us and our 2 daughters and son-in-law are flying out from Glasgow. Yippee!

I asked this a few months ago for a long haul flight - they are such a faff to get on and off as I discovered trying to have a shower part way through in South Korea. I thought I was really stuck.

The answer given to me was a resounding yes! Wear them.
