Good Morning! This morning was a creative morning... even though it's cool, dreary and grey! The monster ("she that shan't be named") and I, were inspired to create the first in series of PMR /GCA Face Masks!!
The series is titled "The Many Faces of PMR/GCA" and this first (dual) mask is titled "R&R Downunder." Can you guess who it's for????
Good egg Humpty! Just fell off the wall that's all! That's my fantasy take!! It's not an easy wake up to this illness. Love your tough humour it will get you through.

You are right!!!!! It SUCKS waking up to these illnesses!!!!! If I don't dig deep, find and use my use humour and sarcasm, I'll be huddled in the corner crying... not a good look for me!
I woke with the song "I want to break free" inside my head - due to the shock of looking in mirror with glasses on - and finding Freddie Mercury moustache looking back..... As I am on holiday, my creative time today was spent duly pruning. I now resemble your head. Can't wait to see finished product.
Ummm Melissa --uuummm for US !!!???? - it has sometimes been said we are 'joined at the hip' - someone once called us 'siamese twins' ( but never 'two-faced' ) and we often share our brains completing 'eachother''s sentences ... we ARE actually quite 'close' but physically VERY different - Ruth is a long lean athletic 'vegan' and 'moi' - well I have frequently been described as having a 'big head' (literally) !! and as for the rest of me well - I'm all in 'proportion' ...so with THAT 'brief' we wish you phenomenal creative strength and imagination - you'll need it - but we KNOW you have 'the goods' !!
How EXCITING !!!! - could this be the first artwork in a travelling 'global' exhibition with any funds raised supporting research for PMR/GCA ....
Yep, life is definitely upside down. The all encompassing feeling of being a mess, hair, skin, brain. Nothing as it was..... Mirrors to be avoided and don’t look in shop windows, a stranger looks back.
It’s good to have a project to focus your mind. A realise of creative energy does you a world of good.
I've really enjoyed this thread..beautiful writing, humor and wit. Reading it picked me up. I can't concentrate very well lately and my English is declining fast, I can only communicate in Spanglish lately.. lol. So reading this and "getting it" made me feel normal for a while.
¡BUENO! Todos tenemos acceso a Google translate, así que si pierdes tu inglés todos juntos, ¡todavía te respaldamos! ¡Feliz esta breve edición de editor que te dio una recogida! xxxx
Wow! That's a perfect translation... at least grammatically. I used to translate for a living...I remember when the e-translators started, they were more a nuisance than anything else... it was harder to correct than to just translate yourself. But this is amazing.
