Payback!

Well after my experience with the NHS, I then had some payback!

Staff from our local hospital couldn't get to and from work, so I helped out.

I picked up a trainee nurse and took her to work and then took 4 nurses home.

On the road for about 2.5 hours, roads very bad, silly people out in their cars getting stuck.

Well done, and if the good Karma continues you should feel no ill effects at all, just the glow from good deeds.

How lovely of you. I like a bit of ‘community’. I bet those nurses going home were very grateful. Well done!

Great - thank you! Far more impressive than the plonker getting his moment of fame on Sky News complaining there had been no information and no gritters.

Information: don't travel unless you have to!

Gritters: wonder if he had ever tried to manouevre a gritter around stranded lorries and cars in a long thin carpark?

HI Mate

Not been out since Sunday...............but as usual the people in the village are doing what they always do, checking up on everyone. Powder snow and wind chill taking the outside temp on the barometer to -13c...........when the wind drops..........up to 3c. Looking out of the window at the back...................beautiful.

Milkman has not missed any deliveries and when I picked up the bottles it took me back to when I was 9 (1947) and the bottle top was expanded and the milk was frozen solid. Yes, I know we have had not so good ones but nothing has ever come up to 1947 and I hope it never does. But progress has been made, but I remembered what my Mam said, never depend on one source of power. So when the electric went off, on went gas fire and hob.

You would love to see all the birds in the gardenI had taken a delivery of two 20kg bags a month ago.................

See you next month and can't wait.

Depends where you lived - 62/63 was '47 standard where I lived - according to everyone who had been through both!

Won't come if you don't find some better weather ;-)

2miles from where I live now. off to take frozen snow off conifers - can't have them damaged now after 10 years growth of the golden ones. Cheers and I promise you I will order better weather. Remember I am a witch who only had GCA for 5 years and now starting 6th year in remission.

KUDOS to you!!!!

What a nice guy!
