Dosing Prednisone every other day.

That means you double your dose and skip a day of prednisone every other day. I heard it will raise cortisol level and less moon face. Any input on this?

Today I had the simple task of making three cups of tea. I put two teabags in one cup and none in the other. I am losing it!

I think PMRPro advised that alternate days was not a good way to manage PMR because you need to control the build up of inflammation each day. It is under your previous post. You can see all your previous posts by clicking on your name I think. It would be nice to get the moon face down. My grandson ( youngest) is a big fat,beautiful,baby, our faces look quite similar in photographs.

Okay SheffieldJane, I am so sorry, but your post made me laugh out loud! I could just picture this mug, full of boiling water, looking at you, saying; "WTF?"

The other day I almost choked on a tea bag, because I had forgotten to take it out of the mug!

One tea bag was green tea and the other was Yorkshire tea. My son discreetly tried to put it right without my seeing him. Maybe I do these endearing things a lot. 🙃

It usually does not work, and depends on how long pred stays in your system. Some people have very short "half-time" and require to split daily dose, and on some people pred is effective up to 36hours... You can try, but second day may be painful.
