TAP DANCING!!!
I was tapping until March last year, when I gave up as couldn’t get going early enough for my morning class, and legs too tired. This was before starting steroids in April. I loved it, not only for the fun exercise, but there’s also a bit of brain workout to try to remember the steps. We laughed quite a bit too! Was just saying to hubby that I am not throwing out my tap shoes, (New Year clear up) as I’d like to go back, but was thinking of going to a starter class in the evening if I can find one.
My bone density was great at Dexa scan, so I expect the tapping played a part. That and dog walking.
ENJOY!! I think you will. Hopefully your tap teacher will modify for the ‘more mature lady’ (not so much keeping on the balls of the feet, which is difficult with our restrictions and balance). Take care of your Achilles which potentially could take some strain.
Hahahahahaha! I'm just grateful to be able to walk!!!!!
Nope. But I tapped as an adolescent. I sometimes think I'd like to buy the tap shoes just so I could hear the click/clack (for lack of a better description) the shoes make. I loved tap dance! You'll have a ton of fun!
