Can anyone please tell me if they suffered continous dizzy spells after reducing preds to 6? Thought might be adrenal glands starting to lick in again. Thanks

Could well be - except more them being reluctant to do so. Don't reduce any further until you start to feel better though.

I have experienced small loss of balance and some dizziness off and on over the two 1/2 years on Prednisone. I started at 20mg and went to 10 in two months. Then 7 5 3 and now 2 Mg per day. Each time I lower the dose these issues pop up. Erratic muscle pain pops up then goes away. Each step down should be at least 6 Weeks between 1 mg reduction. If it does not feel right

(You start freezing up again) go back up to stop it. Each persons body is different. How we deal with fatigue is very important. It is a huge part!

Loss of sleep also plays in to the fatigue issues. I have developed the beginnings of a cataract on my left eye and don’t really know or confirm the prednisone is the culprit but it may be a side effect. Hope this helps.

I have experienced dizziness all the way through when I reduce, now at 10mg having come down from 60mg over 18 months - have been particularly bad with this last reduction from 11mg to 10 which I did over a month. Have stayed at 10 for a month now on the Rheumatologist instructions, still feel dizzy but very reluctant to go up again as I hate the pred. My Doctor thinks it's probably the adrenal gland and pituary gland trying to do something, it's all a bit vague, trial and error.

Hello

i concur with the previous comments - I have also had a couple of nasty bouts of dizziness - possibly associated with tapering - but it seems they just came (and went) out of the blue. Not very 'pleasant' so I hope that resolves for you promptly. Can also be associated with fluctuating blood pressure of course.

Best wishes
