I have been having very scary dizzy spells where when I get out of bed or sit down quickly on a chair, the dizzy so eels almost make me fall down or pass out. It feels like a real heavy dizzy spell. Does anyone have these? Also my chest just between my breast bones, hurts a lot.

Extreme dizzy spells
Hi
If you are passing out and have chest pain you really need to see Doctor.
Could be anything but go and find out don't leave it .

Have you got high blood pressure and take medication for it ? if so your meds may need adjusting, Prednisolone can cause high blood pressure.
Would agree with bowler, Pred can affect your blood pressure. Usually increases it, but I found it had the opposite effect, maybe because I was already on tablets.
But the chest pains combined with the dizziness don't sound good, so please get yourself checked soonest, and let us know the outcome.
Is the chest pain all the time or just when you have these spells?
Either way - with symptoms like that you need to report the symptoms to a doctor and as soon as possible. Whether anyone else has symptoms like that is immaterial!
If you are in the UK - dial 999 if you have a spell like this and chest pain.
It all subsided when I wrote this message!
Sometimes when we suffer stress and it manifests as symptoms of chest pain and dizziness, "talking about it to others and getting their feedback can be all you need to release that stress and everything to settle down. It gives you some reassurance to know that you not alone and people won't poo-poo your symptoms out of hand as some doctors do. However if it starts up again if in England dial 999 and tell them chest pain and dizziness and they will send a paramedic who can check your blood pressure and do a heart monitor, usually while the symptoms are there and even if they have somewhat subsided it will normally still show on a heart monitor if there is any heart condition that might be cause for concern. Are you prone to stress?
These symptoms sound frightening and when we get them we tend to panic and this intensifies the symptoms. If you have the run of tests that ensure that your heart is functioning properly and they are all satisfactory you have to assume that it is a sort of panic attack probably brought on by side effect symptoms from Prednisolone. Anxiety looms large in the long list of side effects, as does dizziness. Perhaps your doctor could prescribe a beta blocker like propranolol if it is suitable for your overall state of health? Personally I have found them highly effective during periods of unbearable stress, with no sensation of being drugged at all. Good luck, remember to breathe, sit calmly until it passes. You are not alone.
