PMR and Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C

Hi All, has anyone had any experience in taking Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C to help with PMR symptoms; all comments appreciated. John

Hi John,

Never tried L-S, but have been taking Vit C supplement for years, way before GCA raised its ugly head, so can't say whether they helped or not, but as piglette suggests think it might just be away to extract your hard earned cash! But give it a go by all means!

Hi DL, I think I am getting confirmation of what I was thinking, but their advertising blerp can be quite persuasive! See you in December, we are off to Japan 17 Oct. for 2 weeks provided those two idiots don't throw a rocket in the works!! John

Vit C - whatever shape it is - won't cure PMR. Just, as piglette says, make flushing the loo a very expensive pasttime...

However - you may find this interesting - not the scientific bit (possibly psuedoscientific bit, I wouldn't like to comment there) but the Footnotes just before the References. Where you will find the Competing Interests. Which I find quite illuminating.

This made me curious so off to Dr google..... found a site that tells you how to make your own lyposomal vitamin C. Lypo spheric appears to be brand name. I still don't know how to copy and paste URLs with my tiny tablet, but basically powdered C is blended with lecithin.
