Started reducing Aug 10 after being on 20mg for one year. I've been following my doctors advise and reducing by 5mg every 14 days. I'm currently at 5mg and will be completely off in 5 days. I haven't had any major issues except for a few headaches. I did have a bit of shoulder and neck pain, but nothing serious. So far I'm really happy the way things are going. Will keep you posted.

This is good news for you and for all of us to know that in some cases this awful condition can disappear after under 2 years. I am almost into my 3rd year and down to just 1mg of Pred. I am feeling good and only have slight aching in my arms and shoulders when I wake. I am nervous about coming off completely but my GP is saying I am ready to come off them now, and also my AA tablets and my calcium tabs. I keep saying 'maybe next week' wish I could be as positive as you. Well Done.
