Accident update

I am home from hospital after wreck, hopefully husband will be coming home in a day or 2. Of course I can't move head or neck because of fracture. Trying to get back on PMR pred schedule (10 mg in AM and 5 mg in PM). All pain is across shoulders in back and across front of chest, and upper arms. See GP Monday. Thanks for all your good wishes

Might be that Bowen Therapy, gentle and non-invasive can help with pain, especially as you cannot move head or neck and it also relieves stress.

You need to treat yourself to 'Precious Princess' time.

Take care.

OMG. Can't imagine dealing with recuperating from an accident on top of managing

PMR. Best wishes for speedy recoveries. Both for you and your husband.

After a trauma like that, it probably seems like you'll never get better. I thought that with just a broken pelvis. But now I hardly remember what the pain and lack of mobility was like.

Hope both of you recover very soon.
