Oh my,found this web site and it's greatly appreciated , symptoms make sense now. Thought I was being a wimp thank you. It's hard for other people doctor included to explain pain. It's not so black n white!

Hello MPkRK,

I think there are many of us who breathed a sigh of relief when we found this website! I was lucky enough to find it very soon after I was diagnosed with pmr, and it helped me to make sense of things and - very importantly - work out what questions to ask. I'm sure you'll find the forum a big support, even for those times when you just need to sound off in frustration!

This forum is a group of folks who understands the complicated issues of PMR and GCA.

There is usually someone here 24-7. If you have a question, feel free to ask...there are no dumb questions, and everyone of us has walked your steps ahead of you...and many more will follow.., I'm sure.

Some people have medical backgrounds, most of us do not. We have a wealth of knowledge gained thru experience and our own research, and have educated the medical professionals as they walk alongside us. We don't have all the answers...but we are making headway!
