Hi everyone wanted to update on progress! I am down to 7mgs! Not feeling quite so good but was prepared for this as a result of all the advice you have given. Exercise was scuppered this week when I walked into the open door of my dishwasher and found out how fragile prednisolone has made my skin! So couldn't go to Pilates for fear of contaminating people with blood! My superficial wound just wouldn't stop bleeding!
Diet in the doldrums and scales going the wrong way!!!
I have also been hit with the stress of my son making a life choice in terms of his career! But figure happy and healthy is better than any career or perceived opportunity!
So all in all the picture sums up how I feel! I am off to get a tea towel whilst navigating the dishwasher

Thanks so much it's been a week of worry but agree money is nothing when you are so unhappy 😀 and what we see as a good career can't be measured against the happy son I now have back
My daughter is a nurse but about 2 years ago got into a really unpleasant situation that eventually led to her ditching her job rather than put up with the bullying. After a rather hairy period of unemployment she was offered a job with a private company proving social care -which she found very rewarding but the company was pants at looking after the safety of their staff - how on earth someone wasn't killed I have no idea. While the bosses had bought themselves a new yacht and were cruising off the Scottish coast when they were supposed to be on call...
Whatever - it has all worked out fairly well thus far as she has returned to nursing. You know the 36,000 posts are said to be unfilled? Well, no sign of one of those just yet but she is doing a zero hours contract as a bank nurse (the Trust's own agency) and seems very happy.
Your son sounds like my son. I think they're right. Look where our attitudes have got us to - PMR.
I'm on 7 mgs too. I forgot to take it until 4 pm the other day and I was more than alright. In fact I sometimes think I feel worse effects from Prednisalone than PMR but of course there still needs to be a gradual taper, because of Adrenal function. Sorry to here about your dishwasher incident. Another reason all the forks and knives should face downwards. Your cross cat picture made me laugh.
True about the worry! I heard about someone who had split worry into two types that which helps and that which doesn't I think his name was Paul Mc Gee! Another thing for me to buy my PMR
