After one year of low platelets my hemotologist started me on Rituxin but also gives decadron lnfusion . I now have a rollercoaster ride of insommnia for 3 days then fatigue. I've had two of four treatments and want to stop the decadron. My doctor said I had a skin irritation reaction to the Rituxin and wants to continue it. Any suggestions? Is it really necessary?

Are you looking for the Vasculitis forum? We are mainly on steroids here, with a few members on steroid-sparing DMARDS.
My mother had ITP and eventually had her spleen removed which solved the problem and she was fine just had to take a daily anti biotic..good luck
