Help with notifications list please

I hate to ask this kind of question here but I can't seem to get an answer Under The Help menu. Is there a way to delete individual notifications under the notification list? Or does that list just keep growing and growing the longer you are a member?

Hi Amkoffee,

No don't think you can delete notifications.

But the list doesn't go on forever, think it's probably limited to around 60, or maybe automatically deleted after a certain period.

Just looked at mine and it certainly doesn't go back the entire time I've been on here.

Yes, there is a way to do it, because I did, but I can't remember... keep trying!!

It certainly would be nice if I could at least mark them as read or something like that.

There is because I took all notifications off while I went on holiday but I'm in the App right now & not as familiar with the layout but will look when I'm more awake & let you know.

In the App ~ go to My Profile at the bottom right hand corner, then select the Green Wheel at the top of the page on right hand side, then 'email settings' come up & all the various options are there.

Hi,

Not in my App it doesn't - I can access all the other options but not EMail setting, I just get a blank page!

Weird or what?

Must admit I find the App even less user friendly than the main site!

I assume you mean the red dot with the number in? Click on it and it will reset to zero when you close the box. And MrsNails has told you how to switch it off.

Mine doesn't reset to zero, it gives me the last 50 notifications. Think I'm going to have to play about a bit - or maybe just not bother, don't know that I can be a***d - as someone once said 'Life's too short to stuff a mushroom'!

Please don't spend any time with it. I believe I've got the answer and the answer is no. I only wish that I could at least mark them as read so I know where I left off.

Yes that would be useful, but probably falls into the "too difficult" category!

Think there's never a problem in asking any sort of question here because it's probably going to help someone else too along the line!! X Jackie
