Currently in France (son got married on Saturday!) My main exercise for the weekend was sitting watching 20 children (aged between 10 and 18 month and 3 different nationalities) racing around a large walled garden searching for Easter eggs, which surprisingly did NOT result in any disagreements. The eggs were pooled then shared out amongst all the participants.

The weekend gets serious again on Tuesday when our party of 6 negotiate the homeward trek (taxi; RER train; Eurostar; UK train; then taxi again). Then the best bit------ a couple of days rest!

Although we are at the tail- end; "Joyeuse Paques": ( Happy Easter). Apologies to any French speakers but I cannot find a circumflex for the "a" to make pronunciation "pack".

What a wonderful time you have had. Best of luck to your son and his new family. I hope your journey home is not too taxing! Might need a cardie handy, bit cold here.
