Thank you so much for posting this. Quick question, I was diagnosed with PMR a year ago but perhaps 4 years ago I had severe attacks of jaw pain. At the time I was given a raft of cardiac tests that came back negative. Is it possible that the symptoms are connected? Can you get GCA before more generalised PMR and not lose your sight. The symptom has never been explained.

HI I was diagnosed in March and prior to this my symptoms were mostly in my head and face. My tongue and jaw were so painful I could not eat I lost 1.5 kilo. I also have numbness in my face and since I have been on preds I have felt much better although if I try to chew anything hard the pain will return I am also on end stage glaucoma so it is being attacked from both sides.
