Good Doctor visit

Was at doctor yesterday and blood is looking good, sed rate down, white count up, inflammation down. Currently at 14Mg of prednisone from 20 looking to reduce next week to 13 going slow and doctor approves. I am feeling positive today

It is so nice to hear of a doctor that does not keep saying reduce, reduce, faster, faster!

He is a very good listener and I bring him research, books etc we discuss in depth he would like me to reduce quicker but understands the setback and agrees for me to do slowly. I travel over 1 hour to see him he is worth all the time. Too many doctors just dismiss you and will not engage I try to avoid those types.

You are wise to take it slow in reducing the Pred. I came off much to soon and had a flare which caused so much anxiety and disability. Saw GP today and now back on the Pred, just 5mg but I had got down to 1mg and was going along nicely on that. Wish I had stayed with the 1mg.
