I HAVE BEEN OFF THE PREDNISONE for almost a year, could not take the side affects. I am taking OMEGA XL and on an anti-inflamitory diet and doing very well.Sandi- USA

Aprilrain, that's good news and I do so hope it continues. Although I have no experience with an Omega XL supplement, I did stick to as many anti-inflammatory foods as possible along my journey with PMR and GCA, including a lot of oily fish which is a rich source of healthy Omega 3. Although not a cure (nothing is at present sadly) if I veered off the diet, and it seemed oily fish in particular, for any length of time I would definitely become aware of increasing pain/stiffness.

That is fantastic April, I am amazed you can keep PMR pain under contral with just Omega XL, do you think that the PMR might have gone into remission?

Would be very interested to know the exact diet you follow and what is Omega XL? I opted not to

Take Prednisone and take Omega 700mg daily + curcumin and totally avoid sugar. My inflammation is gradually lowering. Would really appreciate any information on the route that you find helpful. Ariadne8

you can find the OMEGA XL IN THE INTERNET, I do use an anti inflammatory diet, got that on the internet too
