Well what good news!

I am an absolute Newbie who just joined the forum the day before yesterday. After living in France for many years we are returning to UK ,to North Herefordshire, next week and Shrewsbury is very near..

I will do a proper first post in the " introduce yourself " thread once we have unpacked in UK but will just explain briefly that my husband was diagnosed with GCA nearly 3 years ago here in France. I must say that his treatment here in this particular region has been superb, very supportive, co-ordinated and informative.

I am so pleased to have discovered this support group and forum and have learnt so much that will help us transfer from this health system here to the NHS - must admit we have been a bit anxious about leaving behind the little network of advice and care we have here but the forum has already done much to reassure us.

Back to final packing---main concern today is how on earth will we fit everything into the car on Monday !
