Hi Kate

Just got round to reading the article, and would like to print it off to read again(!), but can't do it - any idea how to go about it? Its pdf file, and when I try to convert it to Word I'm told I have to sign up for 12 months - don't understand as not very computer savvy. Any help gratefully received.

Download Libre Office (free programme) open any document in it, it will read it, you can then save it any way you want.

If you click on the download pdf button, it should download onto your hard drive and probably go into the downloads folder. You should be able to open it if you have Adobe Acrobat on your computer, which is free pdf reader software. I'm assuming that you have got it if you've had a read of it already online. Then, just right click on the page and you should get the option to print it off. If you don't have the latest version of acrobat, it's available to download free from adobe.com..

regards, Kate

Hi Kate,

Will be reading the article. Waiting for the pdf converter to open. Have you worked with or had any experience with the use of biologics to inhibit the growth of killer T cells, which can develop in GCA. I have GCA (2012) and have been recently diagnosed with dissections on the cartoid and two vetebral arteries. Have read quite a bit on temporal arteritis and understand that the giant macrophages can produce the killer T cell substance, which can destroy the lining of the arteries.

Have you worked with a biologic to inhibit their growth in this disease?

Thank you, Whittlesey, Paralegal, NY (U.S.)
