Simple answer is yes it can however we do not all suffer the same symptoms for example some people find that sitting is the worse thing and therefore they cannot sit down while others find that physical activity is the trigger, i have had both.

I've only just started typing only to see that this post/question is a year old. I often just read and read on this site. I find this site enormously helpful. But because I don't write or respond to things very often I totally don't have enough experience to remember to look at the date of the post. So for the sender and/or for the site - I am sorry if this is so late it's silly to post. I'm usually in distress when I log in here which doesnt help. However, I have suffered with Chronic UTIs for 2 and a half years. I guess not everyone has but I also do suffer from Pelvic Pain (including other reasons for it). This post was on my timeline, or came up and caught my eye because of the pelvic pain being so much worse after walking. I don't seem to notice it quite as much whilst walking but then lie down and it hits me like a ton of bricks. I too also find sitting can exacerbate it but walking is definitely the worst. I have recently started to go numb as well in that area. Doubly confusing when you are both numb and in agony. I'm so sorry for any suffering as i guess I know I need to keep moving for as little or long as often as can it's just a shame to be left in pain - really for doing the one thing that's meant to prolong your health and mobility a bit. Hope everyone is as ok as they can be.
