Hi Secret4706,

Have you just been diagnosed? There are two types of endometrial hyperplasia -

Hyperplasia without atypia and Atypical hyperplasia. Do you know what type you have? The treatment options will depend on the type you have and whether you have other medical conditions which are considered risk factors for the development of endometrial hyperplasia such as PCOS or diabetes, obesity etc. I’ve put a link up for you which goes through the condition in more detail and treatment options. It’s worth reading through each one and discussing with your GP and/or gynaecologist as they will be able to tell you which ones they’d advise for you. I hope this helps.

Yes. Many years ago I was diagnosed with this (without atypia). Treatment 20 yrs ago was high dose of progesterone. (If I'm remembering correctly).

I felt awful on it-- I seem to recall it being at least a month if not longer. No problems after treatment. All went back to normal and nothing since.

Good luck!
