It has been suggested that I have secondary vaginismus. I have terrible pain in the front wall of my vagina whenever pressure is applied that began a few years ago and has worsened. Due to this, I can't have sex or use tampons. The pain has left me feeling suicidal; as a young woman with this undiagnosed issue, I feel completely dysfunctional and unable to lead a normal life.
Does anyone have anything like this/has experienced this? Have you got any ideas for anything that would relax muscles?

I've just joined the network and I'm not experiencing actually the type of pain that you are, though it's similar, but I just wanted to let you know you're not alone! I have had some success with getting physical therapy and even some dry needling. That might be an avenue to try. My gynecologist is also recommending trigger point injections (which is why I joined this notebook in the first place, to see what others have experienced).
Hi I'm the same way. I'm only 19 and it took me and my SO about a year to even try having sex (I'm still in pain but at least now it's possible) I was 17 when I discovered I had this issue with my first serious bf. I'm also constantly in pain because my muscles are super tight at all times due to my anxiety. Thinking about getting help but still kinda nervous. So u get you. You're not alone. Message if you want to talk.
