Does anyone know if its possible for ovaries to actually fuse together? Had a hysterectomy six (6) years ago but they left ovaries intact.
Yes, this is known as kissing ovaries and can be caused by adhesions/endometriosis
Thank you - I've long suspected that they've actually become just one big mass of scar tissue. If this is the case, would it feel like there is a constant pulling, tearing, ripping kind of sensation? How do I approach my physicians with this? My pain doctor gave me four trigger point injections last week to see if the pain would be alleviated and to try to unlock the muscles. It actually made the pain worse, and I don't feel that I'm being given credit for knowing the difference between muscle pain and adhesion pain. Should I be talking to my family physician or bring this up with the pain people? I don't know what to do anymore, and I don't get my MRI until July.
