Brittle nails after starting ursodiol?

I've been on ursodiol about 8 months now and for the past month or so have had brittle nails that have been breaking far enough in that it's not safe to cut off the broken part. Obviously there can be many causes such as diet or other diseases, but I wondered if anyone else has experienced this specifically in connection with PBC or ursodiol? I also had hair loss starting when my PBC symptoms started, long before starting ursodiol. FYI, it's not thyroid related, that's been tested many times.

I’ve been taking Ursodiol since 2011. I too, have hair loss and brittle nails. I recently had to add Lividelzi because Ursodiol stopped working. Ursodiol is the cheapest treatment. I hope youcan tolerate it.
