looking for help

I have just been diagnosed with Primary Billary Cirrhosis and have not even started any medications yet, waiting for insurance to decided if they will pay or not, just been looking on line to see what I can find out about this disease. I am 70, white, female and right now clueless. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Eisner,

I was diagnosed in 1984. How long does your Dr.think

you have had PBC?

My Dr. isn't real talkative, but by what he said, I am guessing 2 years. Not sure tho. I feel great and had no idea of this. Still haven't gotten med's as insurance company is fighting it.
