Yep. In my totally unmedical expertise I put them down to a build up in toxins in the blood. But like I say, that's my guess, it's not fact.

I have them too and i put it down to terrible sinus, but perhaps its the stress of the diagnosis or PBC as Pandemonium say?? have beeen taking Amatrypline which were great but am so constipated and have put on just over 3kg and feel bloated so am weaning off, so will see if the headaches come back :( PBC throws so many problems hard to know what is what? You could talk to your GP if he is any help, mine is pretty hopeless so good luck to you both x

I have had terrible spells of headaches since having PBC, to the point my GP sent me to a neurologist. The neurologist did find something wrong but nothing that was causing the headaches. Over the years I have realised the painkillers (especially codeine and tramadol) are definitely triggers. I cant take anti-imflamatories so I dont know about them. Some food cause headaches for me; of note bread/gluten, eggs and the beloved chocolate! Strangely coffee stops the headache - so this has become my headache remedy! Constipation causes headaches if your guts are slow - quite common in autoimmune diseases that the sympathic nervous system is affected.

Headaches :(

Yes. I was told it was cluster migraines and put on propanolol. My triggers seem to be the weather but I too thought it may have to do with the toxins.

I learned oxigen helps, and alsofor this yoga breath excercises (on youtube You find a lot) Chocolate is taught as reason, some smoked and very soft cheeses. For weather connected head-aches I practice drinking diuratic teas, peach-juice. Worth to try everything. That's great if sy finds food which cause this! Can we still eat anything? Be well, I send You sunshine, :D

Hi Nerry if u r newlydiagnosed could be simply stress tension type headaches I got this lot at start but thankfully all settled when I settled and came to terms with the diagnosis. Constipation and dehydration can also cause headaches as can too muh caffeine amongst many things am sure. If you cannot figure out what is causing them or they r persistent and bad see your gp. hope you get sorted soon.

Drink plenty. Water preferably I have difficulty swallowing cold water but can manage warm I also drink soda and tonic water. If you are used to drinking coffee and have been told to cut down this too can give you awful headaches.

Wouldn't it be great to to be able to sit down and eat or drink what ever you felt like? I could not buy an ordinary currant bun in M@S this morning they all had lemon or orange in them or chocolate.

I do not get many headaches, just horrible crawling feeling across my scalp and throbbing in my head. Did I say " just" it drives me mad. Got it at the moment.
