What wonderfully relaxing 6 days we had in Hilton Head Island, NC. Weather was perfect! Just sitting in the sand looking at the ocean is definitely good for the soul. We had a really nice celebration of 52 years of marriage with our oldest daughter who lives there part time.

Just home last night from spending time on the west coast of France, from Ile de re into Arcachon, Cap Breton through Biarritz, onto St Jean De Luz and into Spain, in San Sebastián. Tourist season is largely over and I spent time on the beaches gazing out to sea whilst my husband and sons were busy with water sports.
Bizarrely this means I would technically have been looking back at you from across the pond. Small world!
Now back to Ireland where it hasn’t stopped raining all year…
That is such a cool way to think about us 'looking' at each other. Hard to believe when you sit and look at the horizon that if you keep going you'll end up in Spain. One of the many wonders of the world around us.
Welcome back, Donna! I think of Hilton Head every time we pass by on our way to Florida for the winter as i heard how lovely it was! I have been recently diagnosed with osteoporosis in almost all my joints. I was in agony, and after discussion, my GP put me on two weeks of Celebrex to get rid of the inflammation. He suggested that it would make sense to go on a lower dose of 100 mg daily, especially since i will be going to a hot and humid climate. Is it okay to take this regularly, along with daily exercise , of course? Have you known anybody else on it? I will see my internist in December before I go , so I will also ask him. Just wondering if you heard of anyone else with the same issue? Thank you!
I would love to be able to take something like Celebrex. For the last 30-40 years, my hep doc has always said no NSAIDS.....non steroid antiinflammatory drugs. Just make sure it's of with whomever is treating your PBC. I'll see what I can find out out about this from some authoritative sources.
