Flucloxacillin

I have been taking the first course of Flucloxacillin with orange juice. Is that ok?

Hi flucloxicillin I believe should be taken before food . Not sure about the orange juice . Perhaps it might be an idea to check with your pharmacist. There should be a leaflet in the box that might help you

I have just had a look at the PIL and it states that the capsules should be administered half to one hour before meals. Best to have a look at your PIL and make sure it says the same. I would suggest that orange juice could be considered a food stuff therefore best to take medication with water.

As Ackie123 states perhaps best to check with your pharmacy. I am sure this could be achieved by a phone call or email if you are isolating.
