I have been itching for a very long time - years. I distract myself from it as much as possible. My itching is worst where there is contact with clothing - around waistline, ankles, etc. I have found clothing such as soft top socks which helps. But the big problem is a bra. Has anyone any recommendations - (apart from not wearing one that is !)? Stay safe.

Bras
I have had the problem, madding is it.
I have tried Western Medicine but it made me sick, hair loss, skin issues. There is one medication RX named Atarax works very well but puts you in Zombie zone.
The good thing is, I have found something that does work thought “Cannabis” in any form. I use concentrated Cannabis oil (indicus the dark oil) before I close down for the night. The oil continues to rid the itch for entire night and following day. I use a sesame seed size drop of oil on small cracker w/peanut butter (fat in PB promotes the shelf life of oil).
Have to get Cannabis License in what ever state your in. I have 4-5 Licenses from different states because we travel (its against the law the bring on plane).

I have tried the soft bra crop tops similar to those worn for exercise not great if you are a 38 plus but it is better than nothing. In the winter I wear a vest that has the bra fitted into it similar to the crop tops.
I have the same problem with bras. I can't stand them, they drive me nuts. For this reason, I don't wear them at home. My area of discomfort is around the ribcage. I'm opting to sports bras with scooped back, like this: Fruit of the Loom Women's Built-Up Sports Bra (Pack of 3). A set of three is about $13 on Amazon.

(57% Cotton, 38% Polyester, 5% Spandex)
I wore these for many years. They is very soft and comfortable, but, they ride up and finally I had to find something else. I switched to Jockey and Calvin Klein brands, cotton pull-on bras with scooped back. They seem to work better for me. Amazon has them also.
Good luck!
If you’re in the UK M&S do a couple that I find don’t itch - I think they’re called “light as air t-shirt bras”. No seams, no lace, soft cotton feel. They’re under wired so have reasonable support.
i take fexofenadine practically everday and now its so much better, used to get raised welts around my bra area quite regularly my hepatologist is fine with me taking them daily.
Well, I thought I was the only one with bra issues! If I wear a regular bra inthe summer it causes a rash under the elastic parts under the bustline. Oh man, it itches like crazy. I have tried the all cotton bras. They suck. Even with a fairly small bust 34A I have issues. They don't give the bustline any shape. And they're lumpy under any kind of a tee shirt. I seem to do better in a sports type bra. I found one on the Soma website that is lighter weight than the usual sports bra and it's lacy and pretty with hooks on the backside instead of pullover. I think it was $30. It does have elastic under the bustline so how that's going to work out on a hot day remains to be seen. I'll have to resort the the cotton ones or go braless which isn't exactly a pretty sight on an old lady with a saggy bust.😉
I wear a soft sports bra at a bigger size to minimize friction with my skin. I also bought extenders to make regular bras bigger for the same reason. I concocted a mixture of equal parts oils to put on after every shower: almond; avocado; olive; rosemary; lavender. I also changed my diet to eat as clean as possible with natural ingredients, not processed. I eliminated dairy and red meat (both contain plenty of toxins). I take 800-1000 mg of vitamin E daily (recommended by my digestive specialist doctor) and 1000 mg of milk thistle which helps to detox. Use as much organics as possible and take a good look at chemicals in other products that come in contact with your body. Everything with chemicals is toxic. That toxicity is what causes the itch, because your liver is no longer able to clean your blood of the toxins and so your blood flow causes the itch. Keep it clean. I also used witch hazel which really calmed any itch bouts. Hope this helps. Yes CBD oil is cannabis without THC and is legal in every state. Taken at night it promotes rest and helps with the itch. Just make sure it is of good quality.
I have the same problems with bras and other clothes.
I usually only wear clothes made with natural fibres - i.e. cotton or silk - eg cotton vest, briefs etc., this does help to minimise the itching. I can wear woolly jumpers as long as I have a long sleeved cotton shirt underneath.
One thing that does stop some of the itching is to wear your clothes inside out, so the seams next to your skin is smooth, and the overlocking on the seam is outside and not next to your skin. Though of course you cant do this with outer clothes :-(.
I also use a moisturising cream and use moisturising bath /shower gels (Oilatum).
Sorry bit late coming to this post. Itching is the bane of my life. I have recently found a soft sports type bra which is so much nicer for us people suffering from itching. It's from uniglo WOMEN RELAX AIRISM WIRELESS BRA. A bit pricey at £20 but so comfortable I've been wearing it all the time so am going to get some more.
Has anybody else tried cannabis oil?
Sports bra or seamless bra.
What really works the best is RSO
(Rick Simpson oil) only at night. I only use a sesame size drop, it takes itch completely way, and pull me through the following day. I only do cannabis once a night.
I have been using the oil for so long, I never have that euphoric feeling (don’t want to be high).
Everyone here are candidates for cannabis licenses, hoping it is legal in your state. I have Massachusetts license and Florida license because im seasonal.
I only take diuretics because of the fluid accumulation. But I have found lately I only need 1/2 the dosage of diuretics lately, plus my number are coming down.
I started with AST, ALT around 1750 “YIKES”, tried every western medicine but side effects were horrific for me so I went Integrative and today my AST 69 ALT. 69. ALK PHOS is residual and always high.
So, I use Cannabis Oil at night and following Dr Amy Myers Autoimmune solution plus cook book, trying to figure out my triggers.
