CAP score is measured in decibels per meter (dB/m). It ranges from 100 to 400 dB/m. The table below shows ranges of CAP scores and the matching steatosis grade and amount of fatty change.

Looks like yours is a steatasis score of S3, 67% or more of the liver has fatty change.

My kpa is 2.7. I have aih as well and have been taking steroids. Prednisone for 2 years and I just started budesonide at 9 mgs.

That's very good. Looks like they caught things early, and treatment is working. Do your bloods agree with that?

As steroids can cause weight gain, I don't know if that could be the reason for your score. Have you gained weight, were you overweight before? Of course there are plenty of people that have visceral fat and are considered a healthy weight.

I would ask your Dr's to clarify the situation for you.

He said that he’s not worried about it that they want to deal with my new diagnosis of microscopic colitis. I am burned out badly, lots of liver pain. But he wants to get my medication straightened out and I have to start back taking my immune suppressant. I gained 30 pounds since prednisone. Lost 10 with the colitis issue. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do anymore. I don’t even know what I’m supposed to eat. One dr says yes to veggies another says cook them all the way. I’m just getting through with the day. I have three dr apt. My blood work is fine. My alk elevated 20 points but still normal. I have blood work on the 1st again.
