Do you mean Setraline? It’s an antidepressant.

Yes I know but it’s also used for itch

Yes. Specialist started me on cholestyramine then added rifampicin 300mg a day then added 25mg of sertraline. I can take the whole 50mg but usually stay at 25mg. I still have some irritation but the so called itch that plagued me is now muted. I know this is a lot of medication but for me it is a trade off to be rid of something that had it continued may have caused me to do the unthinkable.

I have recently read that the anti depressant mirtazapine may be of interest in cases of PBC. It is the next post down.

Have to be comfortable, I take Cucurplex95, CBD ( from SOL-CBD) and use cannabis if needed. Always keep Gold Bond itch spray on hand
