Best to ask your consultant, or at least make sure the person giving you the shot is aware you have pbc.

I had the shingles shot...no problem. I think I had just one dose. My hepalolagist told me to get a vacination for everything I could. I got everything except pnuemonia ...here in the U. S. You have to be over 65....I am 63

I got the last one - which hasnt worked so well - shingles 3x- so for sure will be getting it (have to wait 1 yr after having shingles- so next Jan for me). Doctors had no issue.

There’s a new shingles vaccine that is supposed to be more effective than the old one. I haven’t gotten one yet. But my hepatologist said I should get the vaccine.
