Yes, I do, but think this might be a general symptom of fatigue. I am particularly bad when tired and the light is poor and then wear my varifocals for mid-distance to recognise faces and details. OK in better light. Of course, tend to be tired later in day when light is fading anyway.

yes, me too -- but our vision does change often during our life time, i have to get a new prescription for glasses filled, just waiting till we have the money to do so -- meantime i do not like driving at nite as that kind of darkness is harder on the eyes to drive in -

Yes on a bad day - put it down to fatigue (why not tend to hang everything else on that one). Had my eyes tested they are fine, and he looked at the back of my eyes as people with autoimmune problems can get swelling at the back of their eyes but that was fine too.

I have been to see my optician & my eyes havnt changed for years. I have one eye that is long-sighted & one that is short-sighted. When I'm tired I seem to lose focus. It feels like my eyes are going crossed, (you know that kind of double vision) but they're not. He said everything looks the same as usual & put it down to the fatigue. Whether its because my brain is too tired, or because my eyes are too tired, I have no idea!!

I have suffered with night blindness for 3 years such that I haven't been able to drive myself anywhere after about 2.30pm. My eyes are "healthy" although I do have a prescription for both close sight and distances. I live in a lovely hilltop village with no street lights. Got a referral to the eye consultant via Optician, and used this to persuade my GP to send me to the liver team at Oxford. They are doing clinical studies into pbc and night blindness there. Last visit to the eye consultant I was told I had a pigment on the back of my eye. Seems strange as for the last 3 years I've been told I don't have the "right profile" for this degenerative disease, and no-one else at the hospital has seen anything on my 4 earlier visits.. I think sometimes that doctors just want to say anything rather than admit they don't know. I know which I'd prefer...
