Pineal gland

Having seen a 2nd gastroenterologist re having a fibroscan she sent me for MRI with contrast due to symptoms of nausea fatigue and headache . The result of this is that I have a tumour if pineal gland. Awaiting further tests to see what happens now. Meanwhile PBC has gone on back burner as despite AMA liver function still normal. 😣

Joel31,

Wow... Scary stuff. At least they found what is wrong. What are they going to do? You're a retired nurse, is that right? What do you know about this sort of tumor?

I'm sorry, yes you did say you would know more after seeing the doctor. What I meant was, "because of your nursing degree," I thought you might know "something " about this kind of tumor.

Hoping the best results for you.

Lol... I thought ITU stood for "I told you" and you were getting aggravated with me. Keep us posted. Would really like to know what their game plan is.

Prayers for you ❤

I'm really sorry to hear about that. I hope everything goes well! I have also been diagnosed with a pineal gland mass and I just found out a few weeks ago that I also have PBC.

That is weird! I wonder if they are related. I’m getting fibroscan in June meantime waiting to find out if pineal tumour is malignant or benign. Keep in touch! Good luck.
