Is anyone taking activated charcoal ??

woodlandT...I took it years ago if needed for intestinal woes. My best friend believes in it. It seemed to work. May I ask why you take it?

Thank you . Recently diagnosed and trying liver cleanse.

Sounds good to me. Have you asked Dr if it’s safe on the liver?

Alternating with milk thistle. Dr is monitoring

Are you on Urso? I don't know much about the actions of 'activated charcoal' or whether there are any risks with milk thistle - although I know it's necessary to be careful about purity. However, if your PBC Consultant is happy for you to try these and they don't upset the working of the Urso, I guess it's okay.
