This stunning development may be an answer to PBC recurring after transplant. It might be more applicable when attention has first be given to the T helper cell imbalance in autoimmune disease so that the immune system stops attacking the intrahepatic bile ducts, and then, as a better alternative to transplant (no rejection drugs!), use the nanochip technology to promote rapid liver regrowth - even after cirrhosis is significant. Keep hoping!
