Well the answer is no but certain foods can have an impact on the colour. Google it, if your diet is ok then I'd go to see a Dr. Xx to put my mind at ease.
I've had the same problem recently. I was blaming the urso at the beginning but think it may be due to changing my eating habits. I've went from eating fast foods and junk basically to trying to healthy - cereals brown bread and salads - boring food lol so thinking it may be that.
as teddybear7 said if your concerned speak to your gp to be on the safe side.
Hello Marysla.
When I was growing up it was said that having green stools was undigested food. Certain medications can cause discolouration but I think wise to speak to your doctor.
If you check this site out in the UK there is a mention of green stools. But I'd still seek a doctor's advice as that is what this chart points at as there can be many reasons for certain stool colours.
Thanks for the reply I will see the doc as I am a bit off colour at the moment pardon the pun 😊
Appreciate the support
If you're drinking anything purple or blue it can cause bright green stools. Learned this with one of my children years ago-😆
Someone told me green meant it went fast through your digestive system, but since I can't remember when or who perhaps that is to be regarded as...something you could ask your gastro. I think it was a pediatrician- I think my son often had green poop...
Hi Marysla, every now & then I get a craving for black licorice ( the real licorice) & without going into too much detail, it's a rather startling green result in the bowl......
