So many questions,recently diagnosed,and told I need a transplant.

Hi, This is probably a hard thing to do, keep stress down and take problems as they arise don't look for them.  Not knowing your location you will be monitored.  When your liver function test ( LFTs ) results reach certain levels you will ready for transplant.  Liver diseases affect people in different ways so it's a waste of time reading about it on the internet. Ask questions on this site there is a wealth of experience on here and a lot of good people to help and support you. Keep in touch..

I heartily second what 'Brummi' says. 

I just want to add that the number of folk checking into this site usually drops - a lot - at the weekend.  So,  if you don't get much of a response, then try reposting you message later in the week.

I really hope you get some good advice, though another possibility is to talk to the advisors at the PBC foundation, who 'host' this site on Health Unlocked.  There is a link at the tope of the page, which will take you to the 'PBC F' website, and there you will find email and phone nos to talk to their trained advisors.
