back ache

I have had terrible back ache over my shoulder blades for the last week, anyone else get this with their PBC.

Get aches and pains all over particularly shoulders. GP puts it down to age related and tendonitis not necessarily P B C. Am 61!!

Hi I had the same ache between shoulders last week and General tieredness but it's better now. I think it is connected to pbc.

Yes! What is this? I've never had back pain, but I keep getting this pain over my shoulder blades and in my neck so that it hurts when I turn my head. It lasts about 10 days, spreading from sharp neck pain to aching upper back pain. Then it goes away and returns about a week later.

I just figured I had bad posture or slept funny, but I've always had bad posture with no pain. I bought a more supportive pillow, but it keeps coming back.

Suffered with my back since I was 25 and now have RA, not associated with PBC directly but it is an autoimmune disease (RA)

Just an update, was advised to try coedine for backache and got severe biliary pain ended up fainting on the bathroom floor.

Pain in the shoulder can be referred pain that comes from the liver or pancreas. It can be wind also. Try some fizzy water. If it continues I would go to docs.
